A Modern Emergency Department with a Collaborative Team
The emergency department you'll be joining is staffed exclusively by board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians, all of whom are committed to excellence in patient care and collaboration. The team shares a strong sense of purpose, with an average of 11–14 shifts per month, giving you time to enjoy life outside the hospital while still making a significant impact in the community.
Shifts are thoughtfully structured, ranging from 10 to 11 hours, with three primary shifts covered daily:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Midshift (double coverage): 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM
This well-balanced schedule ensures continuous patient coverage while preventing burnout, making it ideal for physicians who prioritize both professional growth and personal well-being.
Exceptional Facilities and Full-Spectrum Support
The hospital itself features a 49-bed setup, including a 6-bed ICU and 6 labor and delivery recovery rooms. The Emergency Department has 12 treatment rooms, including two trauma bays, a dedicated obstetric room, a pediatric room, and a behavioral health safe room. The facility is a state-acclaimed Level IV Trauma Center, with reliable ground and air transport links to a nearby Level II facility—only 50 minutes by ground or 15 minutes by air.

24/7 onsite hospitalists covering Med/Surg and ICU
General surgeons and CRNAs on call 24/7
An in-house laboratory and radiology team operating around the clock
State-of-the-art imaging, including wide-bore MRI, 64-slice CT scanners, 3D mammography, and PET/CT
The EMR system is Meditech 6.08 with MModal electronic dictation, and the hospital participates in the Quality Health Network (QHN) to ensure seamless data sharing with surrounding clinics and hospitals. This means your access to lab results, imaging, and patient histories is streamlined and efficient—allowing you to focus more on patient care and less on administrative delays.
